SHW Group teach apprentices to design for superhero clients

It’s not every day you get to build a tree house for a superhero.  Citizen Teachers Ashlea Beardsley, Luis Ayala, Laura Sachtleben, and Russell Morse from the SHW Group have been turning Jane Long apprentices into architects in their House in the Sky apprenticeship.  Ashlea, Luis, Laura, and Russell have been working with students to design and build tree houses for superhero clients. At the end of the semester, apprentices will showcase their knowledge of math and architecture while presenting their blueprints and tree houses for architects at SHW Group in Houston, Texas.
