Behind the scenes at NBC Studios: Fortune Magazine Journalist introduces students to careers in broadcast journalism
Ever wonder what it takes to make a news show? Citizen Teacher and Fortune Magazine journalist, Michal Lev-Ram recently took a field trip with her MIT apprentices to visit NBC Studios in San Jose to learn about careers in broadcast journalism. Students worked closely with news anchors and technical staff and got a taste of what it’s like to be in front of the camera in addition to what goes on behind the scenes. Thanks to the friendly staff at NBC and Citizen Teacher Michal Lev-Ram, apprentices learned all about the ins and outs of what it takes to work in broadcast journalism.
