Local Rotary Contributes $1000 to Citizen Schools
The Charlotte-South Rotary Club presented a check for $1,000 on August 1, 2011 to Citizen Schools. Club President Janet Newton, immediate Past President Mary Staton and Director Noël Humphreys presented the check to Cassie McIntyre, Director of Civic Engagement.
The Charlotte-South Rotary Club raises funds for donations to local and international service projects at the annual Dick Keffer Classic Golf Tournament and World Wine Tasting dinners. The next golf tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 3, 2011 at Firethorne Country Club.
