Guest Blog: At Citizen Schools, Volunteers Make STEM Relevant Through Web Design Last spring, Citizen Teacher Sean Belka taught a web design apprenticeship to sixth and seventh graders in Dorchester, MA. Sean, senior vice president, director of Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT), worked with a colleague and a Citizen Schools teaching fellow to show students how to create a website. By learning how to use email, web development templates, and content management tools, students utilized technology and engineering principles to finish their final projects.
