Meet Citizen Schools’ Citizen Teacher of the month from Intel!

Citizen Schools honors Jason Lee as our Citizen Teacher of the month! Jason is a veteran volunteer from Intel who leads the Alternate Energy Vehicles apprenticeship this semester at Joseph George Middle School in San Jose. Jason is a master of design thinking! Previously, in one of Citizen Schools’ most popular apprenticeships, he facilitated students’ participation in the Tech Challenge, a design and engineer competition for Silicon Valley youth hosted by The Tech Museum in San Jose.

Not only is Jason dedicated to his students and their success, but he also goes above and beyond his standard duties as a Citizen Teacher. Jason has become an integrated member of the Joseph George Middle School community. He participates in family events and assists students with their homework before and after class. Jason is the first CT to arrive every Thursday, and the last CT to leave. His dedication is widely recognized not just by Teaching Fellows, but by students as well.
