Announcing New Partnership with Whole Foods Market Nickels for Non-Profits!

Nickels_for_Non_Profit_2We are excited to announce Citizen Schools California’s new Nickels for Non-Profits partnership with Whole Foods Market Blossom Hill in San Jose! Whole Foods Market Blossom Hill has chosen Citizen Schools California as their Nickels for Non-Profits recipient from April 13th - July 5th. For every reusable bag that is brought to the register, Whole Foods Market will donate 5 cents to Citizen Schools to support programming at Joseph George and William Sheppard Middle Schools in Alum Rock. Funds raised will provide hands-on apprenticeships to San Jose students so they can program robots, code Android apps, write newspapers, and more!

To help support our Bay Area students and the Nickels for Non-Profits campaign, please bring your reusable bags when shopping at the Whole Foods Market Blossom Hill and simply tell the cashier that you would like to donate your bag refund. With your support, the donated nickels will add up to thousands of dollars for Citizen Schools California!

We want to thank Whole Foods Market for partnering with us and for helping to provide eye-opening opportunities to low-income middle school students in San Jose!
