The Building Bridges Writing and Mentoring Program is the cornerstone of Eighth Grade Academy. Through the Building Bridges Writing and Mentoring Program, students work on a variety of real-world assignments that help them develop personal and professional communication skills. As part of the program, students meet 1:1 with a biweekly volunteer coach from the community.

Coaches serve as both mentor and tutor, supporting students on developing their written and verbal skills and navigating their last year of middle school.
