Do you Tweet or use Facebook every day? Do you consider yourself to be a community builder? Do you take pride in customer service excellence? If you answered “YES” to those questions then Citizen Schools is seeking your expertise!
The Citizen Schools Civic Engagement Department of North Carolina is expanding its online media efforts and looking for someone to help bring us to the next level and manage our social networks on a daily basis. Currently, our Online Media Communications Intern, Tierra McManus, believes her role is important because she serves as the “link between the organization and the cyber world.”
Not only will you have an opportunity to be the link, but you can also help us expand our online media presence as an organization while growing your knowledge as a social media maven. Tierra explained that since the beginning of her role she has also learned how to more effectively post links on our social media accounts while using online tools to gather data and track the progression of our friends and account activity. Tierra’s transition from social media maven to online media guru is what we seek to accomplish through the Online Media Communications Internship.
If you see yourself as a highly motivated, tech-savvy, and strategic individual interested in aiding us to better reach our target audience of volunteers and staff by cultivating our new online community, please see our Idealist.org posting - http://ow.ly/4AaaS - for more information.
