Education is all about being excited about something. Seeing passion and enthusiasm helps push an educational message.  Our message at Grady Middle School is to increase the passion and enthusiasm students have for learning.  Curiosity is one of the most permanent and certain characteristics of a vigorous mind.  One way to achieve this is through the Citizen Schools' apprenticeship program.   Young people gain knowledge, experience, and real life application when they work with experienced adults who serve as Citizen Teachers.

This year, the Grady campus is also proud to offer 8th Grade Academy. By relying on the abilities of older students, we will provide a unique experience on top of the Citizen Schools program you already know. This intensive program is designed to help 8th graders navigate the transition to high school and help them to reach their potential through high school and college visits, leadership development, advanced lessons, and Working Towards Positive Choices.

Come join us at Grady Middle School, where a dedicated and caring staff helps students learn how to be future leaders, to develop community connections, to access local resources, and to perfect skills in public speaking, technology, and other areas. All while having fun!
