TyReese Foreman is a first-year Recruitment Manager based in the Chicago area charged with recruiting top-notch, service oriented individuals to become Citizen Schools National Teaching Fellows & Associates. A product of an inner-city community himself, TyReese attended middle school at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School and high school and Nottingham High School, both in the city of Trenton, New Jersey. TyReese attended college at Brown University, where he majored in Urban Studies, and attended graduate school at Northwestern University, where he studied law, focusing on legal issues affecting juveniles, ex-offenders, and other hard-to-serve members of society. TyReese is passionate about issues of justice and equal opportunity, and his professional experiences prior to joining the Citizen Schools team include serving as a teacher and leader in the Mississippi Delta region through Teach For America. TyReese is excited to begin the work of connecting passionate and talented individuals from across the country to the communities, schools, and students who historically have been under-served by our society’s existing social and opportunity structures.
