Teach What you Know In Charlotte
Apprenticeships are the centerpiece of Citizen Schools’ strategy to engage middle school students in active learning. Students work alongside Citizen Teachers who share their passion, expertise, and professionalism over a 10-week period. Through apprenticeships students learn the skills necessary for success in the 21st century, including programming, science, technology and a host of other subjects.

What is a Computer?
Although many students have used computers, in this apprenticeship Citizen Teacher Isaac Carter took them inside the box, and opened new horizons of understanding. Over ten weeks Isaac taught the students how to take computers apart, put them back together and what each piece is for. At the end of the apprenticeship students presented their skills at their WOW! by providing consulting services about computer CPUs
