Where's my hood? Salemwood!

The Citizen Schools program at the Salemwood School is bigger and better than ever! With over 90 fifth through eighth graders enrolled, this year promises to be amazing! This excitement is reflected in our theme: "It's our world and you can shape that!," a phrase which is derived from a lyric by the famous Salemwood All-Stars hip hop apprentices. Students will embrace this theme throughout the year by engaging in community service, learning about different cultures, and working hard to achieve their own academic sucess!

I am honored to be entering my third year working with this talented group of students, staff, and volunteers!
