This summer, the instructional leaders responsible for bringing Citizen Schools to life will gather for the third annual ELT Partnership Summit. Two days packed with workshops, guest speakers, and conversations will set the stage for an academic year full of innovation and hard-won victories for our students.

Principals, teachers, district leaders and Citizen Schools staff at all levels will meet peers wrestling with similar challenges, problem-solve together on how to optimize and fund an expanded learning day, and encounter uplifting stories of success and opportunity. Register now!

If you attended the Summit last summer, return again this year to share insights with peers from other schools. If you’re new to Citizen Schools, this will provide a crucial foundation for your future collaboration with us. You should also consider attending the Summit if you are interested in a practitioner’s perspective on Expanded Learning Time partnerships in districts and states across the country, and in meeting the leaders who are at the forefront of a movement re-imagining what education should look like in America.

As Expanded Learning Time has gained national attention as a key strategy in K-8 public education, practitioners like us know that it’s no silver bullet. We know it’s not only the extra time that drives results–it’s the people, and how they work together. It’s the partnership: working together, we help kids discover and achieve their dreams.
