Joining Citizen Schools as a campus leader is a strong career step for current school administrators and experienced teachers alike. You’ll use your strong communication skills and knowledge of the local community to model conflict resolution, promote parental engagement and ensure a seamless transition between the end of the traditional school day and the beginning of Citizen Schools’ programming.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Coaching staff
  • Liaising with school administration
  • Addressing incidents of escalated student discipline

Campus Directors manage teams of 6 to 30 educators, so previous management experience is required. Teachers looking to gain staff management experience can leverage their instructional expertise while growing skills in management through the Deputy Campus Director position.
