As we enter our third year at Campbell Middle School, our apprentices, volunteers, and staff are very proud of what we have accomplished.
planted a school garden,
rebuilt the school’s wall ball court,
painted two murals,
learned to salsa, meringue, tango, and swing dance,
designed a playground,
promoted recycling,
created a website,
adopted a local park,
read to elementary school students,
produced two documentary films,
presented a mock trial in front of a real judge,
and much more!
Citizen Schools offers unique and challenging activities that help students develop community connections, leadership abilities, access to local resources, and skills in public speaking, technology, and other areas. We focus on helping apprentices understand the connection between academic achievementnow and increased opportunity in their futures.
Please contact me with any questions you might have, to enroll a student, or to learn about volunteering to be a Citizen Teacher!

"I'm glad my sons ended up at Campbell Middle School instead of another school because they have been able to be a part of Citizen Schools. They come home each day excited to share the new things they have learned." --Campbell Parent |
