To the Family, Friends and Supporters of the Citizen Schools Community at TRP,

I am proud to lead this campus into our second semester in Daly City at the Thomas R. Pollicita Middle School! During our first semester, our apprentices and team leaders focused on learning in AIM (Aspire, Invest, Make the Grade), acquired skills and developed mastery in apprenticeships ranging from You Tube vlogging to Spoken Word, and engaged in hands-on learning while participating in explorations at the Exploratorium, community service for Food Runners, as well as sharing in team meals, campus-wide games, and even a Winter Carnival. Our Friday "Just Runners" successfully completed their first 1 mile race at the Lollipop Run in San Francisco.
We have really "got it started" at TRP, with the learning and fun to continue into the Spring Semester!

Team TRP is hard at work recruiting volunteer Citizen Teachers as well as coordinating explorations for the Spring. If you would like to be a part of the local Daly City movement to "educate youth and strengthen communities", I welcome you to learn more about our warm and supportive campus!
