Boston is the place where it all began 12 years ago. From a summer program that started with a small sign-up table in the Common, we are proud to have grown to an organization that is working with middle-school students at 10 different locations in Boston. To date, we have worked with 8,000 students in Boston and the numbers are growing steadily.

We know that what we do makes a difference. We see it every day in the lives we touch. We cannot do it without our apprentices; our Citizen Teachers, who are phenomenal volunteers who are truly the best Boston has to offer; our incredible teaching staff that comes to Boston from all over the country; and our many corporate and individual supporters.
