The Council of Champions brings together a diverse group of leaders in the greater Boston area in support of Citizen Schools to help with visibility, engagement and apprenticeships. The Champions Council is a peer group of can-do, engaged citizens that understand the mission and goals of Citizen Schools. They also know how to mobilize a variety of stakeholders required to establish a sustainable program. Members of Champions Council are connectors, cheerleaders, mobilizers, fundraisers, and public leaders.
